From The Heart

What is it all about?
Did you ever wonder why things happen the way that they do? Who hasn’t, Right?I mean , really! One bad turn and we are ready to ask the POWERS that be…what gives? Especially when it comes to the things that we take for granted, oh.. excuse me (the things that we enjoy on a regular basis that we come to expect)… like a loved one ~or~ our health ~or~ a freedom. Lest we all forget what happened just a few short months ago what an awful tragedy! We never will,… but it is also Human Nature to lean back at the first opportunity and sigh…..”wheewww” ….deep breath.
We need to have a higher consciousness. The potential for Humanity far outweighs and exceeds our realizations. It is collective, powerful and obtainable…but not instantaneous. It’s like those old expressions Mom or Grandma would use, “You can eat an Elephant, but not in one bite”. It is something that requires commitment, change and a willingness to be aware and pro-active. Every thing we do, say and believe is a drop in the bucket. Let the rivers run deep with the new droplets, one by one, drop by drop. Start today, a little piece here a little “peace” there… think of each one of these drops in the bucket as the letters of the word PEACE ;
P…People E…Equally A…Actively C…Contributing E…Everywhere
Keep dropping them. Those little drops…. be kind to people, give a smile, say hello, ask how they are doing and if they start to explain more than you expected….try to be patient! Everywhere you go, remember that this is a place, a planet and environment that we all share! Lets not pollute it with negative thinking, toxic beliefs, hate or misuse in any way! Treat this world like the garden that you would cultivate in your own backyard. Be good to it and it will give back.
Be Active…try to make a difference in a small way, all the time, as much as possible, ”from little things now big things quickly come”. Contribute your time, your resources, or perhaps just a prayer. I’ve always said….”When all else fails….Prayer prevails”! We have to remember how truly short our time here really is. Be thankful for the days when things are just so, so. Those are the days you should stop and smell the roses ….so to speak. When things are crazy and hectic just think…things could always be worse. No matter how bad you got it…somebody, somewhere has it worse! When things are good, take a mental snapshot, they are the things you carry til the end. They are worth the long haul, the good memories are the only memories worth carrying around! The others are carried too but they should only serve your thoughts as lessons. Be well and Have an Extraordinary day! I would love to hear from you, what are your thoughts?
